Contests & Winners
We always have an amazing contest for our patients to enter. Every two months, a winner is rewarded with a gift certificate to the store of their choice! Have fun and play! For more information, please feel free to ask any of our staff members about our giveaways.
Current Contest:
Walking barefoot on the grass, butterflies, flowers blooming, baseball, old t-shirts, packing your bags for a vacation, umbrellas and rain boots, picking strawberries, a sudden thunderstorm, long hot summer days and warm evenings. Share with us that little something that puts a bright smile on your face, a little twinkle in your eye, or a slight pep in your step. Enter our annual calendar contest and who knows, maybe by sharing a little bit of what makes you smile, we’ll be able to spread joy the whole year through.
Past contests include:
From March through April, our contest was titled: “Who do I belong to?” Our Hollywood paparazzi patients were challenged to match the baby to the star parents. Yonah S. was the lucky winner of four movie passes to watch his favourite stars on the big screen. Awesome work!
From November through February, our contest centered around the mystery item in the box in our reception area. The hint was: “You answer me, although I never ask.” The first answer that many of our parents came up with was “a teenager;” however the answer we were looking for was a telephone. The lovely Robin P. was our lucky winner. CONGRATS!
October’s contest was titled: “I Spy.” Our patients had fun matching the eyes on the billboard in our reception area to the correct team member in Dr. Korne’s office. The ‘prec-eye-se’ winner of a $50 gift certificate to the EATON Center was Jacob L.!
In August, we held a contest called: “Where in the World am I” in celebration of summer vacations and voyages. Patients were asked to identify the destinations posted on our reception room billboard. Congratulations to Alex Janson for being selected with the correct entries!
April through July marked our annual calendar contest. This year’s theme was “Smiling through the seasons.” Congratulations to grand prize winner Chloe Moazzami winner of a digital camera! Congratulations to runner up winners Zi Ian Truong, Alexander Toy, Lucille Xiang, Erika Pettorelli, Carmen Tang, Beth Dennis, Oliver Warne, Sofia Hashemi, Nikki Koniaris, Chloé Thomas-Ducret and Wesley Osterland who each won a $25 gift certificate to Omer DeSerres! In honour of St. Valentine and romantics everywhere, we compiled a collection of famous couples past and present, real and cartoon and even those found in the pages of famous novels. The couples were cavorting on a board in our reception area. Only correct answers were eligible for the grand prize draw, and the love-ly winner was Elizabetta Maratta!
